At Houston Elementary School, we take an “It Takes a Village” approach to fostering a healthy school community. Part of that approach includes our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). There is strength in numbers, and there is nothing more rewarding than to be an advocate not just for your child but for others. The membership dues for one school year is 5 dollars per family, and meetings are usually held the first Wednesday of the month. We are a resource in the school, develop relationships with the community, and support agencies around the district.
